KIDmunity InterACT

KIDmunity is a tradition at SETX Stages. Camps for 4th grade through graduated seniors, and a special needs inclusion camp, give young actors all over Southeast Texas the opportunity to shine!

InterACT: For students ages 8+. Special needs inclusion camp. Run in conjunction with the Department of Speech & Hearing Sciences at Lamar University, under the direction of Dr. Karen Whisenhunt Saar, this theater immersion program puts students in a friendly, engaging, and low-stress environment. They’ll learn fundamental principles of theater, music, and dance, in a way that encourages social and emotional learning in a supportive way. When they perform at the end of camp for their friends, and family, it is one of the best parts of the summer!
