Sides:
Adults should read the following:
There are many good things in life from which I have not profited, I dare say, Christmas being one among the rest. I have always thought of this time of year as a kind, charitable, pleasant time; the only time I know of in the long calendar year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut up hearts completely: A time of year when people regard one another as fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures travelling on a different road! And though it has never put a scrap of gold or silver in my pocket, I believe that it has done me good, and will do me good; and I say, God bless it!
Children should read the following:
I have come to bring you home, dear one! Home, home, home. For good and all. Home for ever and ever. Father is so much kinder than he used to be, that home is like Heaven! He spoke so gently to me one night when I was going to bed that I was not afraid to ask him once more if you might come home. And he said, Yes you should, and sent me in a coach to bring you home and never come back here!
Music:

Show synopsis:
This 2004 Tony Award winner for Best Musical features colorful puppets with very real-life problems and very adult vocabularies. This is the amusing and touching tale of a hopeful recent college graduate traveling to New York City with big dreams and a modest budget. He can only afford a place on Avenue Q, which may look like “Sesame Street” but he soon discovers that life there is far from what he expected. Fortunately, his neighbors prove to be an eccentric and hilariously entertaining bunch.

Rated R for some adult material. Parents are urged to learn more about the show before taking their young children with them.
