Aladdin will audition MOST days from Monday - Friday starting March 16th - May 8th from around 6:30-9:30pm. There are mandatory rehearsals that can not be missed from Monday April 27th - May 8th. No performances may be missed. If a participant can not commit to all performances and last 2 weeks of practice, they will not be a good fit for the show - there are no exceptions.
Performances are the following days: Friday May 8th at 7:30pm, Saturday May 9th at 7:30pm, Thursday May 14th at 7:30pm, Friday May 15th at 7:30pm, Saturday May 16th at 2pm and at 7:30pm, Friday May 22nd at 7:30pm, Saturday May 23rd at 7:30pm, and a potential of Sunday Saturday 24th at 3pm.
Aladdin realizará audiciones la mayoría de los días de lunes a viernes, del 16 de marzo al 8 de mayo, de 18:30 a 21:30 h. Hay ensayos obligatorios del lunes 27 de abril al 8 de mayo. No se puede faltar a ninguna función. Si un participante no puede comprometerse con todas las funciones y las últimas dos semanas de práctica, no será apto para el espectáculo; no hay excepciones.

We are excited to invite you to audition for Disney's Aladdin, the Dual Language Version! There are plenty of ensemble parts for both Spanish and English speakers (and those who want to learn bits of each!). If you want to only be considered for ensemble (ages 13+ only), please let us know on the audition form when you arrive.
We are auditioning for the following roles:

Aladdin - A commoner living in Agrabah (Men ages 16-30)

Jasmine - Princess of Agrabah (Women ages 16-30)

Sultan - Ruler of Agrabah. Male preferred but open to women as well. Aged 45-60

Jafar - Head Advisor for the Sultan. Male ages 45-60, must speak fluent Spanish

Abu - Available for any gender over the age of 13

Rajah - Available for any gender over the age of 13

Iago - Jafar's right shoulder parrot. Snarky, smart, and a little mean. Available for any gender over the age of 13

Raul the Guard - Jafar's chef henchman. Male between 25-50 years old, speaks primarily Spanish

and plenty of ensemble roles like the 4 Royal Translators, Guards, Harem Girls, Shop keepers, Princes, etc.
Other notes:

Only fluent Spanish speaking women can audition for Jasmine; only fluent Spanish speaking men/women may audition for Sultan or Jafar; only fluent English speaking men can audition for Aladdin. We will consider actors who are willing to learn Spanish or English for other roles if needed, including Abu, Rajah, and Iago. If you are fluent in both English and Spanish, you may audition for any role available.

This is a musical and there will be musical auditions. Please plan to arrive at or before 7 so that you are able to learn the song you will be auditioning with.
