Join our free ongoing writing workshop, Scribes, open to the public for ages 16 and up!

 

Led by a published author, Brandon Greer, this welcoming space invites writers of all experience levels to explore any genre or medium—from poetry and fiction to memoir and scripts. Whether you're looking for feedback, inspiration, or a supportive community, this workshop offers a creative environment to grow your voice and your craft. Join us (usually!) every other Saturday at 11am in the Concetta and Morris Clongier Board Room.

Meet Brandon! Brandon Greer is a writer hailing from West Texas. He graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a BA in Theatre in 2017 and from Houston Baptist University with an MFA in Creative Writing 2021. He has published three short stories: "Buffalo Gals"; "Something Happened to the Food"; and "Tell-Tale." He also wrote and directed the award-winning podcast Codename: Blank, and 2023 saw the release of his interactive fiction game, Top Villain: Total Domination.

Looking to sharpen your acting skills in a fun, supportive environment?

 

Drop in to our weekly acting class every Monday at 7 PM for just $5! Open to actors aged 16 and up, this class offers the chance to perform monologues for professional feedback from John Manfredi, run scenes with fellow local actors, and gain valuable practice whether you're preparing for auditions or just want to stay sharp, this is a great way to stay connected to your craft. Payment is required before class—come ready to work and grow!

Students with a current valid student ID can enter for free.

Unlock the art of storytelling from the director’s chair!

This adult directing class explores the fundamentals of stage direction, including script analysis, working with actors, blocking, and bringing a creative vision to life. Whether you're new to directing or looking to sharpen your skills, this hands-on course offers a supportive space to learn, collaborate, and lead with confidence.

Interested in what goes on behind the scenes?

Join our free two-part Stage Management class for adults 21 and up! This hands-on workshop will cover the essential skills every stage manager needs—like scheduling, running rehearsals, calling cues, creating prompt books, and communicating with cast and crew.

Whether you're curious about theater production or looking to step into a leadership role backstage, this class offers a great introduction to one of the most vital roles in any show.

Spring 2025
Join us May 24th and May 31st at 1pm for the Spring 2025 Stage Management Class! Must attend BOTH classes to satisfy need of class. This class is only available for people 21 and up.
