Our elite high school camp, tailored for students entering grades 10 through 2025 graduates, KIDmunity Troupe offers an unparalleled opportunity to delve into advanced theatre and music techniques, fostering both artistic and technical abilities. Camp will meet from 6:00pm - 9:00pm Monday through Friday
June 9 through July 18
Troupe performances will be Friday, July 18th and Saturday, July 19th. Tickets may be purchased for $24, available May 1.

Registration includes t-shirt and cast photo. Recordings of the performance may be available for an additional fee, if the copyrights allow.

John is the executive director at SETX Stages. With a background in stage, TV, and film, John has directed many high school and regular season shows, and KIDmunity is the highlight of his year!

Music Director: Lindsay Downs
Lindsay is the Box Office Manager at SETX Stages, and has been the music director for several shows. Her background is in piano and voice, and she enjoys bringing musicals to life on stage!

What's the youngest camp you offer?This year, we have a camp offered for students entering 4th grade. (Though in previous years we have had camps for 2nd and 3rd graders, we will not be offering that camp this summer.) Please contact the Box Office if you have any questions about which camp you should register for.

When do the Jesters rehearse?Jesters rehearse Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 12pm beginning Monday, June 2, 2025. The last day of camp will be Friday, June 27. Following the close of camp on Friday, Jesters will have two performances: one on Friday June 27 and one on Saturday June 28.

How do I register for KIDmunity?Register for KIDmunity by completing payment at the "Register Now" link above. You may also fill out the Financial Aid application form here to reserve your spot. After you have registered, you will receive a Parent and Student Information Form (via Google Forms) to fill out before the first day of camp. This will contain emergency contacts, allergy alerts, and other information that will help us to ensure an exciting and inclusive environment on the first day of camp!

How do I audition?New!! Auditions for ALL CAMPS will be held on the first day of camp. Audition information will be released soon, and all registrants will be notified when the audition materials are posted.

What is the camp attendance policy?Students may not miss more than 4 days of camp. Attendance is mandatory for the last two weeks of camp. (Please note: while it is sometimes possible for us to accommodate absences in the week before Tech Week, it may prevent the student from receiving a lead role in the performance.) Sick days, 4th of July holiday, and any other family emergencies are not counted. Arrangements will be made on a case-by-case basis.

What's the refund policy?Full Refunds: Available at any time before the start of the camp. Partial Refunds: Offered during the first week of camp. No Refunds: After the first week of camp, no refunds will be issued.

What is the Parent Meeting?At the Parent Meeting, the Director and Stage Manager of your student's camp will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to you and describe a little bit about what you and your camper can expect from camp. This will include details about the planned production, the activities they have planned, and ways they will communicate information and practice resources to you and your camper. This is also a good opportunity to sign up for a Parent Volunteer role, as well as get any of your questions answered.
